Owen graduated from the Aquatic Resources program at StFX in the spring of 2023.

He is currently studying a novel symbiosis between ribbed mussels and brown seaweed along parts of the northern shore of Nova Scotia. His master’s thesis project is part of the Coastal and Marine Management program at the University Centre of the Westfjords in Ísafjörður, Iceland.

Riley is currently studying the immunological impacts of freshwater mussel glochidia on their fish hosts

Allison is in her fourth year as an Aquatic Resources student with a major in Biology at StFX University. Based in Pugwash, Nova Scotia, she is currently researching the ecological dynamics of a novel symbiotic relationship between ribbed mussels (Geukensia demissa) and bladder wrack (Fucus vesiculosus).
