Prospective Honours, MSc, or PhD students are encouraged to contact me (hpenney@stfx.ca) to discuss research possibilities in my lab group.

Graduate students: To discuss the possibility of joining my lab for a MSc or PhD, please send me an e-mail. It is helpful to include a brief description of your research interests and to attach a CV and unofficial transcripts. The aquatic resources program doesn't have a graduate degree, so any of my graduate students would be through biology where I am cross appointed. Note StFX does not have a PhD program in Biology, but have an agreement with Memorial University.

Undergraduate students: Students can participate in the lab through an honours thesis, directed studies, summer research positions, or volunteers.
