Current Areas of Study:
I am a evolutionary ecologist that focuses on early life history and fisheries ecology questions.
I am starting a research program looking at the evolution and ecology of parental care in
freshwater mussels. Being one of the most endangered taxa in the world, I am also interested in
addressing questions relevant to their conservation and recovery.

I am an Assistant Professor in the Aquatic Resources Program cross listed with biology
Evolution of parental care

Early Life History and Reproductive Ecology
